I go to general software update and it says my iPhone is up to date on iOS 13.7 and I was wondering why I can’t get iOS 14

Well, we’re being asked to guess a lot about your circumstances.

Some possibilities:

Have you been using beta software?
Is your iPhone managed by a school or employer?
Might you be in a region or country where the iOS 14 has not yet been released?
Might your iPhone’s storage be full?
