my iCloud storage is full

How do I transfer all the documents on my icloud to my new MacBook?

please help. All I know about the iCloud is that it allows you to have your docs

on multiple devices.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

You can use the following feature which will allow you to sync your documents across all devices --

Set up iCloud Drive - Apple Support

Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support
