MacBook Pro will not boot
I only get a folder icon flashing with a question mark.

Unfortunately, this can be a big problem for your Mac if it starts up to a flashing question mark folder and you can't remember the admin password to get into macOS Recovery. You'll need to schedule an appointment with a Genius at your Apple Store.
I can't remember the password to get into this device. I'll have to go to an Apple location.
