Memory leak from Mac Safari

The new version of Facebook is eating up Mac RAM. How can I stop this?

Safari memory leak in Big Sur on MacBook Pro 16 does anyone have safari 14.0 that uses 1+GB of RAM?? I have a 16 inch macbook pro I9 32GB RAM 5500M 8GB GPU Gmail tab takes 1.5 GB of ram!!!! I cleaned the caches plenty of times Please help!!

Webpage is using significant memory on a Safari over and over again! Hey There, I went on the NBA.com there's a problem it's says This webpage is using significant memory. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of your Mac. So I'm going to close it right now and I'm going to get a different browser like Google Chrome and Firefox instead!

We hear that you're having issues with an app taking up too much RAM on your MacBook Air. We can help out.

Try booting into safe mode and testing the RAM usage again:

That seems to slow dow the growth of the Facebook leak problem, but it does keep growing. Still don't understand how to clear cases, and which ones to keep.
