Deleting Mail

When I delete e-mails on my iPhone and iPad, they are still in my mail on my desktop. How to I fix this so I am only deleting them once?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Make sure iCloud is turned on for Mail on your Mac (System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud > tick Mail).
