I am trying to pair my apple watch with my phone but in order to do so it needs to update. The update will not go through. What do I do?

Most of the Apple watches need a phone to have IOS 13.x.x to work.

If you phone will not update to IOS 13 series then this is the problem.

My iPhone has 13.7. Any other ideas about what to do?

Id your iOS on your iPhone is up to date, reboot the watch and ensure you have at least 50% charge.

If that does not do the trick;

When pairing, is this an initial pair or restore?
