imac display to macbook air
what kind of cable do I need to connect a iMac (late 2012) display to a MacBook air (early 2015)?
Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode this assumes both computers are using 10.13.6 or earlier, if either have been updated beyond that it will not work.
