My brand new Apple series 3 Watch will not hold a charge. Anyone else have this issue?

If it is brand new, I wouldn't mess around with it. Could it be the charging cable? For more info see:

Maybe. It does fully charge on the charger within 30 minutes. It just drains completely in the same amount of time as soon as I remove it from the charger.
