photo size
How does one lower the megabitesize of a photo? I need to post it to a site that requires photo to be less than 2mb. I don't know size of photo but know it is more than that.

Export the photo to the Desktop via Export ➙ Export 1 Photo… menu option
with these settings;
The file size will be set by the JPEG Quality menu:
So try them and see which gives you the size you need.
