iphone disabled connect to itunes

I restarted my phone and the "iphone is disabled connect to itunes" screen popped up. I know my password but my phone didn't even ask for the passcode before it this screen showed up. How do I connect my phone to a computer if I can't open the phone? That's required in order to connect phones to computers. And "iTunes" doesn't exist anymore as it used to. What do I do?

You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPhone. You will need a computer for this task and all your data on your iPhone will be wiped clean in the process.

If you have a backup created then you can ➔ Restore Your iPhone from that backup file. If you do not have a backup file created then you will lose all your data on the iPhone.

If Photos, Messages and Contacts are synced to iCloud then you will be able to retrieve them after setting up iCloud on your iPhone after you reset the passcode and sign into iCloud.

Yes, I know about those processes, but I wanted to know how to get back into it when I know my password. Does it still to be wiped clean even if I know the password? This screen just popped up on my phone after a restart. I didn't even have a chance to enter my password correctly.

I don't have my phone backed up anywhere, which was a dumb decision. I know. And my phone storage was basically filled to the brim, so that definitely has something to do with the error. But if I know the password, there must be some other way, right? Because I didn't even cause the iPhone to be disabled. That screen just appeared.

Hello Lindsey,

I completely get your point. I understand your post. Unfortunately, the iPhone has been disabled. Once it is disabled then we have to take the steps necessary to reset the passcode. Yes, even if you know the passcode that was used. We have to address this from this point - disabled iPhone - forward and with the use of those procedures that you already know. I feel for you, I hear you, however, next steps are the ones that you already know. Good Luck Lindsey.
