Connectivity problems between iPhone and Mac Photos 3.0 solved

For a long time I had problems importing photos from my iPhone to my Mac (10.13.6) with a Lightning cable.

After a while importing, the connection was lost – or, the iPhone asked me to unlock it and stopped importing.

The solution that worked for me was by disabling "Low Power Mode" on my iPhone. After that, no problems.

photo on Mac Big Sur shuts when iPhone 11 connected (14.3) Whenever I connect my iPhone to my Mac to download photos (from the phone to my Mac), photos quits. Have rebooted everything and same response. Apple releases are increasingly problematic, any help gratefully received.
