slow macbook
My Macbook Air is not working like it was, its much slower. I am a teacher and depend on it. Would it help if I reset/reboot it?

Activity Monitor can help see what's going on. ~ Other ideas require free
useful items; to look for adware, malware, etc apps; from reputable makers.
Malwarebytes for Mac; and also EtreCheck, (with links to sites) are in above.
See above thread, for 'some Ideas' - those are not the only ones available.

So many options!
But I suggest you start by downloading the free version of MalwareBytes and run a scan on your Mac to see if any malware has been installed.
