Dear meghanakatturi1,

You would like to associate your iMessage and FaceTime with your phone number as your Caller ID.

Let's try this: I'm assuming you are doing this on an iPhone.

  1. Goto Settings > FaceTime
  2. Under CALLER ID, if you see your phone number listed, select it.
  3. You should see a check mark (tick mark) next to your phone number. This means FaceTime will work when someone calls you using your phone number.

Similarly, for iMessage:

  1. Goto Settings > Messages
  2. Verify the first option on that page. Toggle iMessage is ON.
  3. Select the second option. Send & Receive
  4. Under START NEW CONVERSATIONS FROM, if you see your phone number listed, select it.
  5. You should see a check mark (tick mark) next to your phone number.
