Activation Lock

Hi I have an uncle that passed away I tried to erase his iPhone but he left his phone with an activation lock on what can I do in that case

How do you turn off Activation Lock on a phone from a deceased relative? My father passed away a few years back and I am just getting around to trading in his iPhone 6(?). activation lock hi my dad passed away, which i have proof of in documents, and we wanted to reset his phone for me to use but because he has find my iphone on there it has an activation lock which no one knows his icloud logging into to reset it , is there anyway you could help or would it be better to bring into a store
