Saving photos from icloud going back to the iphone

I recently deleted all my photos in my old iPhone unfortunately I thought it will not affect my newer iphone photos so I permanently deleted them then today i saw my photos on my new iphone are gone also i dont know how to save the photos from icloud going back to the iphone

iCloud backed up photos I recently got a new phone and before I traded in my old phone I backed up all my photos into iCloud but now on my new phone I don’t see my photos on i cloud that I backed up from my old phone is there a way I could get them back or see them?

All my photos didn’t download from my iCloud I just upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone XS. And I backed up my 6, to iCloud right before switching to the new phone. After two days I noticed that many of my photos from before this March 2020 are not on my phone. I logged into my iCloud and I see them all on there. But only half of my total photos are on my phone. I have tried everything including logging out and back in of my iCloud and my photos have not been downloaded back to my device. Please how do I get them back into my phone ?

Have you checked the Photos app and at iCloud.com/Photos using a computer browser to see if there is a Recently Deleted album?
