So like a dummy I accidentally hit the forgot device when trying to reset my Bluetooth to it wireless speaker that was I think maybe paired to my friends phone I don’t know but I accidentally hit forget device thinking that oh I can just reconnected that way and no obviously that didn’t work any help is appreciated thank you

You need to put the device back into pairing mode according to the manufacturer's instructions (very often it's a question of pressing a button with the BT logo on it). You should then see it appear in Settings>Bluetooth.

Sometimes devices have a limit to the number of things they can be paired to and need to be reset before you can do it again.

It’s a Sony Bluetooth speaker so there is no Bluetooth button however when I turn the power on there is an indicator light that flashes for a moment and then it comes on steady and it makes a little beeping sound to let me know that it’s ready however my phone cannot find it when I do a search for devices
