Can I use iMac (21 inch late 2009) as second monitor for MacBook Pro (Retina, 16 inch 2020)?

Looking for advice to use my older-model iMac as a monitor attached to my new MacBook Pro. Which connectors/cables will be required?

It would have to be a 27-inch Late 2009 to work.
