Move Audio/Apple Loops folder

How do I move the Audio folder, or the Apple Loops folder that's in it. I'm low on disk space and want to download the entire library.

I've tried moving Audio to an external drive and putting an alias there. Doesn't work: Logic Pro X removes the alias and redownloads everything. I've also tried just moving the Apple Loops folder the same way, and Logic just removes the alias and redownloads stuff.

Aliases don't work. You must use Symbolic Links. Assuming you know what you're doing.

Recent Logic versions have a Relocate Sound Library command. Better to use that. For the Loops, it must be done manually.
