Boot Camp Assistant Unable to read the Windows partition

I'm attempting to install Windows via Boot Camp for the very first time. There is no partition or Windows OS currently installed. Upon clicking continue I get this message:

Unable to read the Windows partition

Boot Camp Assistant was unable to verify if the Windows partition contains a Windows installation. This may be because BitLocker is enabled on the partition. If so, disable BitLocker on the disk before removing Boot Camp.

This is odd since there is no partition, Windows OS installed or BitLocker enabled or disabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

iMac Pro, macOS 10.15
