Finder Sidebar issue

Hey all,

I am not able to spot the icons for "Desktop" or "Documents" or "Downloads" and so on. Only the tags are visible.

I checked Finder preferences, and all of those are selected to be shown in the side bar.

Can someone please help me with this?

Finder sidebar missing items selected in preferences (Ventura 13.0.1) My finder has lost it's mind! I was moving a file, and suddenly the sidebar stopped showing Favorite selected items. I have rebooted and power cycled without resolution. Help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Finder Preferences -> Sidebar The finder sidebar is missing a few items: the home directory, documents, music, pictures and movies. I go to: Finder Preferences -> Sidebar where I tick all the items. The finder sidebar stays the same, and if I leave the sidebar preferences and return, they're unticked again! It seems that Finder is determined not to allow me to have these in my sidebar? Why? I do have my user account on a separate drive, but, surely, this has been a normal thing to do for a very long time.

Hover the cursor in the space to the right of Favorites to reveal Show.

Clicking on Show will expand the list:
