The number of failed passcode attempts increases each time I try to change the screen time passcode in iPhone 8 Plus. I followed instructions to change screen time passcode as provided in the following link: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT211021
The current software version in my iPhone is 13.6

Go to Settings, tap Screen Time. Tap Change Screen Time Passcode, then you should tap Change Screen Time Passcode again. Tap Forgot Passcode? Enter the Apple ID and your password for it that you used to set up the Screen Time passcode. Then it should work.

If necessary, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.
