Try this repair process:

1 - duplicate the keynote file

2 - rename the duplicate file

if the file name ends with .key, change it to .zip

if there is suffix name add .zip to the end of the filename, and press Enter, if Finder asks, select Use .zip

3 - double click the zip file, Finder should decompress the .zip archive into a folder of the same name.

4 - rename the folder by adding .key extension to the end

5 - open the file with Keynote

If this did not work, the file is unrecoverable.

As the only application on the planet that can write valid, undamaged Keynote documents is Keynote itself, recovery software can get your hopes up, but Keynote will encounter a damaged, reassembled document.

This is an excellent case for having hourly Time Machine backups to an external drive, where you can control your own document recovery with undamaged Keynote files.
