Already have that IOS....what's up with the "Firmware" issue ??

What iOS version are we talking about? None was mentioned in either your post or mine!
It was the latest prior version. I couldn't look it up because I was already downloading the new IOS via my WiFi. It wasn't doing it thru iTunes for some reason.....

well...it is resolved...But doesn't explain why it wouldn't upload via my iMac/iTunes...
