ipad pro 11 2 gen.

how do you connect audio interface, microphone and / or headphones, to an ipad pro 11inch 2nd gen., when theres just one usb c port.? i got a usb c hub, and it needs power so i connected it to the i pad charger using the double ended usb c cable that was included, but the wont deliver a charge to the ipad though the hub is pluged in to ipad and receiving power from ipad power supply. just want know how im supposed to connect this external devices to my ipad so i can record live insturments my music with garageband.

The included 18W Apple power/charging adapter block may not be powerful enough.

You may need to upgrade that power/charge adapter to the 30W version, instead.
