Thanks for the reply. I was aware of this issue but my iPads were not affected! It started getting bad yesterday with not being able to click anything on a website I was on. I refreshed the page. I thought it was my wifi (even though I have safari turned on for cellular), so I reset network settings. This site was still dead. So I restarted my iPad and the site perked up. Then last night on here I was typing out a reply and half the letters were missing or spelt wrong, which was darn near impossible to correct. I had to cut short my reply.
My iPad has a tempered glass protective screen on it. I cleaned it with a windex wipe and it’s been better since. Also restarted again. This issue is intermittent. Sometimes it’s hard to do my passcode, I know I punched in 6 digits, but it shows there’s one left to fill in. So I need to delete them in case I do it wrong and disable my iPad! It’s super annoying. I bought the iPad through my phone carrier on a deal last year when I got my new phone. I asked for Apple Care but the Apple care vanished mysteriously. Not sure how that happened. With this COVID thing going on I’m not going out to Apple Stores.
It also sometimes just shuts off when I leave it and I come back to a dead black screen. It has a full charge so it’s not the battery causing that. My iPad Air 2 works better., I left that one on iOS 12.
I had that issue, I reset the iPad then restored a back up and it fixed the screen issue
That does NOT work for most.
Well it worked for me, no need to me rude Michel is there,
Thanks James but I’m not into restoring it.
But it will fix your issue, it's quick and easy, not sure why you asked the question, then ignore the advice your given from somebody who had the same issue
Your other option is to call Apple support, even if no solution, the call and the issue get recorded and logged.
Ok will do that, thanks
I asked to see if there were answers I’d try, restoring is not an option. Today it’s not doing it.
