Locked icloud account

My10 year old granddaughter has a locked icloud account. She can not open her e-mail account ( icloud) to receive instructions on resetting password which she can not remember? The perfect storm.

Device Help I have my moms ipad and i am trying to re set it up for her. When i go to login it says that her icloud account is locked. I followed the instructions to try and reset her account password but it sent a website to reset the password to her Icloud email which i cannot access. Locked out of iCloud account! HELP!! My mother recently purchased a new iPad. She tried to set it up but has entered her password incorrectly too many times and has her iCloud account locked. We have tried to reset the password but it keeps coming back to needing access to her iCloud email. (Which we can't gain access to due to it being locked) Other than waiting two weeks to be able to reset the password (as that was what was mentioned on the website, we have no idea what else can be done. I suggested creating a new iCloud account just so she could use her iPad.

You will have to reach out to - Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support.
