macbook air suddenly stopped working completely

Why did my MacBook Air suddenly stop working & doesn’t show any life when I plug it in to power.

It was charged when it stopped working.

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

MacBook Air - not working My daughters MacBook Air won't work - she charged it overnight and this morning the green charge light is on but the laptop won't power up - it is completely dead. I think it is pre 2018 model - possibly 2017 but dont have the details - as they are on the laptop.
