Connecting IMac with Mac pro

I need to be able to connect my iMac with my Mac Pro I purchased the tumhubdebolt 3 but it does no work with my imac

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Target Disk Mode not supported on 2020 MacBook Pro.

For iMac, must be running High Sierra or OLDER. More (including which adapters) in this article:

Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

Then you need an adapter. What type will depend on the ports on your iMac.
