How do I change my phone number if I use 2FA

I have an AppleID and password. I also set two-factor authorization. That was several months ago. I changed my phone number and also forgot my password. How can I change by phone number to the new one?

See if you can get an email option. Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.

You need to change the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
