Using a wireless mouse/keyboard with iPad mini 4

I bought a Bluetooth mouse but it doesn’t pair with my iPad. Why is this detail hidden, that only certain models will pair?

iPad mini 4, iPadOS 13

What iPadOS version are you running on your iPad? Did you put the mouse in pairing mode per the directions from the manufacturer?

Either way, it's advisable to update to iPadOS 13.6 to be current. For the mouse, you'll have to ensure you are in pairing mode for it to connect to your iPad.
