Photos not all on new phone

I back up my photos to iCloud always. When I switched to my new phone and restored from a back up I did this morning, only photos from the last 2 months appear, even though they are all still on my old phone. How can I get all of my old photos on my new phone?

Why my photos are not transferring to my new phone? I have backup my iCloud and still don’t see them on my new phone! I don’t know what else to do. 10,000 is photos are not transferring to my new phone!

Normally it takes time for photos to appear when setting up a new device. They slowly transfer when the device is locked and connected to wifi
