My mail crashes

Why does my mail crash every time I try to launch it? It says mail quit unexpectedly.

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.11

I'm really sorry that you're not able to access your Mail when you attempt to launch it. Have you followed the steps in Apple Article - HT201398? This is where I would begin to troubleshoot your Mail issue in your user account specifically.
