My screen is black but it is vibrating to touch. How can I restart it and get the screen working again?

You can't. You need to contact Apple as it's a hardware issue. See the following from https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201412.


Contact Apple Support to set up service if you have any of these issues:

  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
