Sidecar and switching user account on macOS

Hi,

I am considering buying a new iPad to use it as an additional display with my MacBook Pro.

On macOS I am using more than one user account to separate home and business stuff (I switch to appropriate account <with different Apple IDs> whether I am doing things for business or for home).

In the requirements for the sidecar I read that the iPad and MacBook has to be logged into same Apple ID.

I found a post in discussions suggesting that it should work as long as you are logged on both iPadOS and macOS with at least one common Apple ID). So when on macOS I would be logged in to home and business user account and just fast switching users, and iPadOS will use same AppleID as home user account on macOS -- sidecar should work also when I am on my business account on macOS.

Am I correct?

Best wishes,

Maciej
