crash pages.app

Pages.app quits/crashes immediately when I try to open it! I am on a MacBook Pro, Catalina 10.15.6.

Anyone know what to do?

Ensure that Pages is actually quit, with no dot below its Dock icon. Press and hold the shift key while launching Pages to prevent it from reloading its last saved application state. If it does not crash, try opening any new or existing Pages document.
