My iPhone 7 Plus doesn't show the name of Bluetooth connected devices so I can't change the name. Can anyone assist?

It's an iPhone 7 Plus. Some are headphones, one Alexa Dot, a speaker etc -all have very different names. I just want to be able to differentiate between earphones as I've 3 pairs and confused by the random names the manufacturer's call them... so it takes me several attempts to connect with the correct set I'm wearing that day! 🤪
I'm afraid I can't offer you any further help, Sailgirl, and I'm very sorry, but if you can't rename them, perhaps it really depends on their manufacturers.

Thanks Giulia ..... 'Some'? All 10 of my devices ... everyone of them can't be renamed! That looks like a phone issue rather than device. ? M

Have those 10 devices the same name?
