Transfer contacts and photos saved to my iCloud on my Mac to an iPhone

I have all my information such as contacts and photos saved to my iCloud on my mac. If i were to buy a phone would I be able to transfer all of the to my iphone, if so how?

Basically, mia4657, if you setup your new iPhone with the same Apple ID you have used for your Mac account (the Apple ID of the iCloud storage), the transfer and sync will be very nearly automatic: All compatible information will be synced to the phone, and the phone will have full access to that iCloud storage.
