Can not update app because it was purchased with a different apple id

I just changed my apple id on iPhone.

It is obvious that I need my old apple id and password to update an app that was purchased with that old id which I am not currently using.

I entered the old apple id into the iPhone but still its not updating the app.

help !!

Updating my apps I have for a while changed my Apple ID on my phone and it has been working perfectly until I need to update a new app. Every time I try to update my apps it asked me for the Apple ID password, but when I enter it it says is incorrect. I tried putting random password to see where it would take me. Turns out it’s still using my old Apple ID for the App Store. I don’t know how to Put my current Apple ID so I can download and update apps

You need to log into the App Store using the old Apple ID and password in order to update the app.
