My right AirPod Pro is not working

I have a new Apple AirPods Pro. At the beginning both pods sound excellent. However, today only the left pod is working but not the right one. Please let me know what happens. Thanks

my airpods work individually when the right airpod is working the left one is not, when i hold the button on the left airpod it starts working but then the right one doesn’t work. also the sound is very loud even though it’s only one level above silence
