I am desperately trying to transfer my photos from my iphone 7 to my windows 10 laptop, my storage is totally full, my apps arent working properly and i cant update. it has always worked fine by dragging and dropping in file explorer, but if i transfer more than a few at a time the iphone stops responding. help.

I’ve read the article and followed all the guidance. When I’m transferring the photos it comes up with a error box to say the phone isn’t responding. Then kicks me out. But it will allow me to do like 5 photos at a time. Almost 2000 will take forever
That sounds like a USB problem on your computer, or possibly your antivirus scanning each file as it arrives and causing timeouts. Try temporarily disabling it.
