Removing Device from Apple ID

Does removing device from Apple ID account that action also removes its backup from iCloud? I still wanna use that backup at later stage for new same device.

It only removes the device and not the data associated in iCloud -- Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support.
