does anyone know how to get Face Id working again? Im forced to input a passcode every time

You must enter a password any time the phone has been powered off, or if it hasn’t been unlocked for more than 8 hours. If this is not the explanation go to Settings/Face ID and Passcode and set it up again.
Not wearing a mask ... have done everything the apple article says. including restart and reset. No alert saying disabled... simply a message saying i must input passcode to make face id work.
I tried all that.. no luck. interestingly... certain websites( Chase bank for one) work with face-id.
Go to Settings/Face ID & Passcode and enter your passcode. Is the switch for iPhone Unlock turned on? If it is, turn it off, then on again.
does anyone know how to get Face Id working again?
