Keynote Text Gradient Fill Not Showing

I am trying to change the gradient text color in Keynote. I have seen videos online of people changing gradients and whatnot, but that option is not available. I can edit the color of the text plainly by clicking the color wheel, but I cannot change it to anything more complex. I see how to do it in pages. Is this no longer a function in keynote? Here is a picture of the screen. The online tutorial said it is a thing I can click under the font menu.

The current version of Keynote (version10.0) has gradient text.

As you don't appear to have this option, delete the Keynote application from the Applications folder then empty the trash.

Open the App Store application and install keynote again.
