This can't connect to Wi Fi
Tried all I can think of. I pad recognizes network and looks like it's connected but won't connect. the router is fine, and all other devices in the home work fine with the router: iPhone, MacBook, Androids, TV, PC, etc. Tried resetting Network settings, no dice. iPad is updated.

Sorry, what do you mean for "hotspot"?
I asked you to try and connect your device to a different Wifi Network (I mean using a public wifi network i.e. Starbucks or McDonald, or any other wifi network, not yours).
If the answer is "yes", the problem is not related to your iPad.
Please let me know about that.

Have you tried a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

Did the hard reset, didn't help. The iPad connected with another network now, so it looks like something is up between the wireless router here and the iPad. Very strange that the router works fine with so many other devices, but I'll try rebooting the router next and see. Thank you.
What happens when you try to connect that iPad to a different wifi network?

It works on a hotspot but not on my home wifi router. And this router works fine with nine other devices, including an Apple phone and laptop.
