Apple TV Subscription

I bougth an Apple Tablet and they told me i had a free year of Apple TV but when i open Apple TV i dont see anything free.it only give me the option to buy or rent. I dont understand the offer i received from apple tv for a year.

The subscription only covers Apple-original content.

I dont understand. I’ve checked everything and i dont see anything that says apple original content. Where in the App i can see that?
