Lost sound on macbook air

The only output option shown in system preferences is Apple TV - Airplay .

How do I get back 'this computers internal speakers'?

The computer is up-to-date with latest software.

Any help appreciated thanks

on the drop down menu, the only option listed was AirBeam TV which I uninstalled. But, now I have nothing on the drop down menu. I have no sound from my MacBook speakers. monterey 12.6.3 update, lost sound and internal speaker output is gone (Macbook 13" - 2016) Has anyone else had issues with losing sound after upgrading to Monterey 12.6.3 . Only have airplay sound output options and no option to choose internal speaker.

Resetting NVRAM could solve sound related issues.
