If I don’t have a router can I use my hotspot

If your cellular plan includes hotspot data.

Turning on hotspot causes your phone to act as a wifi router.

It uses your cellular data.

If it works you can but be advised watching movies etc will consume a. lot of data and can be very expensive if you opt to go over your limit.
