I received a phone call from 800-****-6313 claiming suspicious log ins to my apple icloud and to not make any purchases using my icloud account. The message then said to press 1 for support. I hung up and googled the number with no success. How do i verify that this is NOT an apple call? If it is an apple call, how do i check the security of my icloud account?

Apple does not make such calls.
All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
