So, after downloading MacOS Catalina I tried opening applications and as soon as i open them they don't open fully and just keep in the loading screen.

Discord, BadlionClient, and Roblox.
I think they might be 32 bit... is their a way I can fix it I need to access these things.
They might not be because they open but just dont load.
It is up to the developers to create 64 bit versions of their apps.

To use time machine I need a disk and I do not have that is there like another way to back up?
You had to have backed up before you upgraded to Catalina. You need an external drive in order to do a backup.
You should always have a current backup if you are going to use a computer.
