Older versions of iMovie for download

hello I have a MacBook Pro that is running El Capitan that I would like to install iMovie onto. The current version of iMovie is incompatible with the OS.

Apple does not maintain full downloads of past applications for installation, where you did not already have the older application installed on the same Mac via the Mac App Store.
